Our centre is a part of a still operating train station on the periphery of a historical city Banská Štiavnica that is on the list of UNESCO’s World Heritage sites.

Banská St a nica Contemporary: Culture centre is focused on managing artists in residence stays for contemporary visual artists, production and support of new artworks and book publishing. Centre is located on the periphery of Banská Štiavnica in a space of a still-operating train station. Mix of people entering the station containing tourists, artists or passers-by creates a specific atmosphere of the space where number of activities is inferior to their quality.
