NOMANTINELS

Nomantinels Theatre is the only LGBTI+ theatre in the Slovak theatre context and the only theatre that deals with the themes of gender, gender identity, gender equality, suppression of gender stereotypes and the fight against discrimination and violence against women.

The aim of Nomantinels Theatre is to spread humanistic ideas, to protect human rights, to promote the elimination of discrimination in society, to promote gender equality and to strive for the development of civil society. It does so through culture, through theatrical productions, publishing a magazine, conducting festivals and workshops that can intervene in the formation of ideas about different minorities and contribute to the acceptance of otherness.

During its existence, it has already produced 17 theatre productions and 150 performances.

It regularly collaborates with inventive young artists interested in human rights and queer themes and gives them space in the creation of theatre productions.
