Hidepark

We are the inspirative story of how to build a culture centre on a garbage lot.

A former garbage lot was turned into a lively park that in the summer becomes a culture centre and a space for unusual ideas that lacked space in Nitra. In summer Hidepark hosts festivals (film, theatre, dance, music), workshops, petanque competitions, parkour practices and many other events. Our space is also used for vegetable growing in the community garden, taking care of beehives or just for people who come read a book or walk their dog. In winter you can find people riding on snowboard jibs in Hidepark.
