The Malý Berlín cultural centre is a project of civic association Publikum.sk, active in Trnava since 2006. The centre has been opened in March 2018 after five years long reconstruction of a burgher's house in the historical downtown. Its two halls host 300-350 events yearly for all age groups. The program includes notably theatrical performances, concerts and literary events, also covering educational activities, panel discussions, conferences and multigenre projects.
Between 2014 and 2017 the civic association Publikum.sk managed the temporary cultural space Berliner in preparation for running the much larger venue currently. The organization also publishes books about Trnava, online film magazine CinemaView.sk and presents Slovak films abroad with the Slovak Short Cinema project.
